Two-dimensional Wall Streamers
“...The conception of the sculpture as a line supported by the wall was the starting point of a new series: SBP (Two-Dimensional Wall Serpentine). In this new and most recent stage, two interesting situations occur: on the one hand, the return to color, testing new pigments and looking for certain nuances. The line is still a drawing in space, but with a variant: it is the informal line, which appears as a scribble, a “scratch” that appears “informal” but at the same time is a clear, precise line, the result of technique that the artist masters and applies to metal work. The scribbled lines could be understood as a return to abstraction. Maybe because they don't refer to anything. Or maybe yes: to subtle calligraphy or writings of indecipherable content.” *El Nacional newspaper of February 13, 2021. Literary Paper. The recent steps of Fran Camino.
